Join the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center as we commemorate and celebrate the resilience of the Indigenous People of the Western Hemisphere. On this day we honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a future where Indigenous Voices are heard and respected. Don’t miss this campus-wide event, taking place both at the Cultural Center and across 12th Street at Avanyu Plaza.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day at Avanyu Plaza brings together music, makers, and community in a welcoming outdoor setting. As a destination owned by the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico, Avanyu Plaza is proud to host a celebration that honors Pueblo culture alongside Indigenous voices from across the country. Explore the vendor market, catch live performances, admire show-stopping cars, and enjoy food and activities for all ages—free and open to the public.
